Yesterday I plugged my PS3 controller into the computer to try and play Vice City and San Andreas better, but not all the buttons on the controller work. The rear shoulder buttons, the directional buttons and the right analogue stick don't do anything.

Is this because GTA is an old game and doesn't fully support it, or have I set up the controller wrong. I followed the guide off the forum to connect it.

Thank you :)

Seen a few posts in the last few days talking about Pinnacle game profiler.

Not tried it my self which my xbox controller, but the general idea it seems like is to do what you want ;)

If you are using the motionjoy drivers make 100% sure you have enabled XBox 360 Controller Emulation or the buttons won't work properly. With the 360 controller emulation it works great.

If you get it working let me know because I'd be interested in this also. Have to pop out for a few hours but when I'm back I'll try the advice in the link above and let you know how I get on. :)

san andreas is going nuts with mine when I have my bluetooth adatper in to use my ps3 pad. Scrolling through menus etc :(

Yeah I did that, it was your guide I used Flibby :). I havent tried it again since restarting my PC, would I have to press f8/f9 at boot again or is it all ready to go?

Aye need to disable driver signature enforcement on every boot, but there's a way you can permenantly disable it, was posted in another thread but can't find it :(

if its doing that then could it be picking up on the motion sensor? i havent used a ps3 pad myself but it sounds like thats what could be causing you to have those problems with it
