GTA4 1.0.6.0

I got it from D2D, installed and then upgraded with the patch 1.0.6.0 patch. I entered the key then logged into social club, all looks fine then it comes up with this

'No disc inserted.
Please insert the original "Grand Theft Auto IV" CD/DVD.
Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=nodisc for further, more detailed information.'

Now what? I have no disk. Is there a patch or crack for the 1.0.6.0 version that I have activated?

Just wondering if you've downloaded and installed a patch that isn't compatible with the D2D version?

no just let windows live update the game - you've installed the commercial patch. the GTA 4 page on the D2D site links you to their own D2D patches but their only up to 1.0.0.4 dated last year.

I just re-downloaded from D2D. This time unzipped it with 7 Zip. I then launched the game and it asked to update with live, I said no. I tried the game and it ran terrible, dropping to 1fps then back up to 40.

I quit and re-ran it again and updated it with live. It came up with an error but then ran the update so i closed down the error. After it said something like GLQW is not needed so it uninstalled it. I then linked it to live account.

It now plays fine and saves work as normal, enjoying it so far and managed to run over the bridge into china town despite having no weapons and many cops running after me. Didnt last long though

How do you lock the camera when driving so you dont need to look with the mouse. (fix camera behind the car?)
