Had this problem for a while, but after reading stories from other people who have the same problem I really couldn't be bothered to waste time trying to get help from the nubs
at Windows Live.
Well today I did and my god how the stories were so true. First off you have to phone "Live" no email address given, seems Microsoft thinks it 1980 LOL then you have to tell a nub that it's not an Xbox problem its a PC problem and then the confusion starts. First off I had to repeat myself many times as if a PC was some strange alien technology, might have been easier asking for support on the Doctors Tardis. but the real icing on the cake was the telephone number given to by them to call for PC support turned out to be for a company called Envoy which is for gas emergency's.
When I phoned back another nub gave me the same telephone again, so I asked why Microsoft feels that my CD key problem can be fixed by a gas company, the confusion got worse.
there ended up given me a premium rate number which I have chosen not to use, because I refuse to waste time and now money on such stupid and bizarre morons.
So sadly my story about this problem is even worse then the ones I read about and I still cant play my old saved game or play online. And by the way I have reinstalled this game 4 times
the time it stopped working was when a changed to Windows 7, funny really that Microsoft would stop me playing a Windows Live game when I upgrade my Windows OS.
If there is any one here who knows of a way to fix this issue without endless hours talking to nubs I would appreciate it.
