GTA4 Slight Judder exiting apartment

I have a GTX470, just wanted to know if other people get an initial stutter when exiting the apartment at the start of the game when going outside.

I have a

Q6600 at 3.2ghz
4gb Ram.

Yup, but it only lasts for around a second.

You have to remember it doesnt render any of the outside world until the moment you step outside, so it will be a little judderish for a small amount of time. An SSD and very fast RAM would be the easiest way to minimise this on most modern games.

It always stutters there for me too.

I7 920, 6GB RAM, GTX 460.

I'd imagine its because its loading the world.

An SSD might sort it out, if your looking for a game that performs well GTA IV is probably the worst example in recent years.
