Is anyone planning on buying GTA4 Special Edition when it's at last released at the end of April?
£70 is quite a lot to splash, but it is possibly going to be one of the releases of the year...

What makes it special?

No...

Why would anyone waste £30 on a load of old junk?

TBH everything I've seen so far of the game doesn't impress me at all. I think both Infamous and Prototype look like better games with fresher ideas.

as said before, I can never understand these collecters editions and metal tin boxes, think of it this way, add an extra £10 to the 70 and get another new release

It's not just in a tin box though is it?

As far as Special Editions go, its a pretty good effort from Rockstar - artwork book, soundtrack CD, a big ass bag and it all comes in a metal safety deposit box with keys...

Kind of gimicky, but still, also kind of cool. :)

I really like the look of it. I was thinking the other day about what really makes GTA stand out from it's competition and I think it's the atmosphere. The only other sandbox game which has had as much atmosphere as the GTA games, imo, was Mafia.

Mafia > GTA for atmosphere

You might laugh , but the GTA4 collectors edition is the only collectors edition I have ever considered buying.

But then I thought about carrying a bag with GTA 4 on it, might up my geek points and lose all my friends :D
