ENB Series mod
Which site do you recommend getting from, also does it work find with GFWL and online?
Google enb and get it from the website, yes it does work with that stuff but I wouldn't recommend it, it destroys performance, unless your PC can run vanilla maxed, which only the mega top end can, I don't see the point in mods.

I have finally got an ENB config working on my Steam version and it's great. Colours, shadows etc so much better than vanilla. I don't use AA though as that really does kill performance.

Has anyone got any of these mods working on the EFLC only? Tried some on the Ballad Of Gay Tony and none of them worked.
The one I'm using now in GTA4 is actually for EFLC, so I'd imagine that will work!

That is not your ENB config though, is it? I thought you have gotten some ENB settings to share.
I recommend Realistic Driving & Flying 1.2 - http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=5529. Improves handling of EVERY vehicle in the game - can be used with GTA IV/EFLC.

Make sure to get an ASI loader and ScriptHook library.
Speedometer is also nice in game.
Possibly First Person Driving and definitely EPM if you're editing cars.
Blood mod if you're a vampire.
Reality IV if ENB is too demanding.

Yes that is an ENB config that works for me on the Steam version of GTA4.
All I did was put my resolution and refresh rate in enbseries.ini and left the rest as is.

The problem with a lot of mods like that is they only work on version 1.0.4 of GTA4. The Steam version is 1.0.7.
You won't be able to use these mods with 1.0.7 patch or EFLC.
That's fair enough, thought you would share better settings than those.

It's frustrating seeing all those amazing screenshots that only work in 1.0.4 but I'm not buying another copy of GTA4 and I can't be bothered to download a torrent either.
I don't have any, sorry.
Got a little problem myself that I'm trying to sort out but I don't want to lurk on one of the GTA forums since they're full of annoying kids.

What problem? I doubt I can help but you never know...
GTA 4 is decent but the story gets a little boring and annoying at times. BOGT is pure gold, you won't be missing much of the storyline and although it's recommended to be played the last, I'd say go with it anyway.
I replaced Stallion with this car - http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/1971-plymouth-cuda-epm-f8272
and the textures haven't changed. Strange as the file sizes have changed and I've tried copying over all handling/vehicles/carcols lines twice. Still the good old Stallion instead of that shiny beauty.
None of the other cars I've installed had this problem. Can't find any similar issues either.
