GTAV performance issues

So at my res and locked @ 60fps I don't notice the poor performance the last patch seems to have introduced for a lot of people .

Now I like to mod my games , and for GTAV I like to play a mod call LSPD . They were due to introduce there 0.2 update to the mod the day after the release of I'll gotton gain part 2 . This mod updates was pulled due to a pretty big performance issue , which I think from reading was introduced by the latest patch patch.

This patch was to introduce a lot of new anti hack/mod protections .

They detail there issues and the performance difference between version 372 & 393 . And state performance could be even better on 323/350 due to even less obfuscation.

Could this be the performance issue affecting people that don't even mod ?

I get a huge performance hit, 50-60 FPS down to 10-20 when using weapons such as the Assault Shotgun. I use no mods at all, and I've seen people on Reddit complaining.

It's really annoying having to deal with the stuttering I get, it's made me not want to play the game to some extent, too.

I had huge issues with my 7990 on the latest update, also stuck the latest amd drivers at the same time.Basically wouldn't even load the game and had to go in through safemode and carefully up the graphics and only choose options that didn't require a restart. I tried all different drivers but nothing worked, i then uninstalled everything Amd from my pc and reinstalled with 15.5 Beta and it now runs better then it did before the update. Tiny hardly noticeable micro stutters but before the update id get fairly big ones on hitting a vehicle at high speed. Thats now gone.
