I searched quite strenuously before making this thread, but apologies if one already exists.

This looks very much like my cup of tea. From the makers of payday 2 (they said in an interview with ign that paid dlc and micro transactions are not planned before you ask), and with a heavy focus on coop play. It strikes me as a first person version of alien swarm really, but with stealth thrown in. Due out this year. Colour me interested.

Thoughts?

Yeah the trailer was out ages ago, but they did gameplay at e3 which put it back on my radar.

I'm also wondering if it'll get repetitive, but apparently some of the levels will take between 2 to 4hrs to complete (raid style) whereas most will take 30ish minutes. The question is how they'll keep you coming back. Payday has perk skill tree and cosmetic drops, will this have similar progression?

Just curious if you guys are, like me, interested in this because you're still looking for that long term successor to Left4Dead (in terms of being the go-to co-op shooter for you and your friends)? There have been a few pretenders to the throne (**** you, Evolve), with plenty more on the way, but this one looks most promising to me. There's another one called Earthfall, which is a little too much of an homage to L4D. But this looks different enough to stand on it's own feet, whilst still relying on the core co-op mechanics.

Alpha weekend on this, played a bit last night, runs well, kinda hard which I like.

If you liked Payday2 for the stealth missions, you'll like this (except now you'll also be scared to bits when a scout appears through the fog 2 ft in front of you). It's bloody intense. I thought this would be good, and now I know it will be.
