GTHD - MASSIVELY overrated

Yep I agree, HL2 looks great, plays great and is one of my fave games of all time. I'm not sure if to get the orange box on 360 or PC though, are there any comparisons going anywhere?

It's not really though is it.

I really liked GT3 but I hated GT:HD and I never seen the big fuss with the graphics, to me it only looked special in replay mode. :confused:

no, it pretty much is. although to be fair gt4 ran at 60fps anyway so its just a ps2 game running in native HD, exactly the same engine.

i think sony just asked PD for something to put on the PSN for day 1.

You can't compare GT:HD to PGR3.

GT:HD is just GT4 in HD and nothing more, for a good comparison you have to wait for GT5

rologue as that is designed from the start to run on the PS3

I think some people have high expectations that clearly weren't reached with the GT:HD demo. Personally I thought it was quite impressive. Didn't set any benchmarks, but was good to watch and fun now and again.

I don't really see the point in trying to compare it with other games.
