Hello,

Straight to the point,

can GTL values be left at AUTO once the proper vCore, PLL, FTT, NB, SB voltages are found?

Can a messed up GTL mess up a CPU?

Thanks.

Nice, so basically only vCore, PLL and VTT can damage your CPU,
GTL can be left at AUTO.

Cheers for the response! :)

Is the RAM you have the CH5 DHX? I run mine at the stock 5-5-5-18 so am wondering if I can tighten the timings. What FSB/RAM volts do you run the RAM at and did you have to up the NB to get it stable?

Sorry for all the questions but I run NB at 1.16 or 1.18, can't quite remember which and have to run the RAM at 1.8v else I start getting errors in MemTest86+.

Hey!

the RAM i have is the cheap 6400C5. Not DHX. It's rated at 400mhz 5-5-5-18 but as long as I give it 2.02v+ it does fine in Memtest86+ at 5-5-5-15.

FSB is at 445 and I can't remember NB but it's around 1.16v. SB is 1.2v.

Thanks for that, in your previous post you said NB was 1.22 hence the query.

That's a pretty good overclock you've got from your RAM, mine sort of keels over at anything above 825.

I managed to decrease the NB. I thought I needed it high but apparently it didn't. :)

Yeah I think I lucked out on RAM, I didn't think I could push these RAMs this much. On the other hand, another set of 2x2gb same RAM i bought a couple of days ago, one of the stick was defective.
