can GTL values be left at AUTO once the proper vCore, PLL, FTT, NB, SB voltages are found?
Can a messed up GTL mess up a CPU?
Depends on what values the other settings end up at.
Have a look at this. OK, it's not for you motherboard, it's for mine but it does answer your question![]()
Nice, so basically only vCore, PLL and VTT can damage your CPU,
GTL can be left at AUTO.
Cheers for the response!![]()
Is the RAM you have the CH5 DHX? I run mine at the stock 5-5-5-18 so am wondering if I can tighten the timings. What FSB/RAM volts do you run the RAM at and did you have to up the NB to get it stable?
Sorry for all the questions but I run NB at 1.16 or 1.18, can't quite remember which and have to run the RAM at 1.8v else I start getting errors in MemTest86+.
Thanks for that, in your previous post you said NB was 1.22 hence the query.
That's a pretty good overclock you've got from your RAM, mine sort of keels over at anything above 825.
