GTR2 and rFactor

rfactor and it numerous mods wins for me gtr2 not a bad game though, how can you say gtr2 beacuse it has real cars cuchulain  rfactor has plenty of real cars mods ranging from lawn mowers to f1 ,tintops and even le mans :p

Recently got GTR2 and it's good, but needs a wheel to play properly. Just not the same with a keyboard, might try the PS2 joypad and see if the analogue sticks are any better.

I have a long history with RFactor & in my opinion it is the best online racer out there. Using the mods available the game can be adjusted to suit All drivers. Mods & new tracks are spat out on a weekly basis & the hall of famers are must haves. Countless tracks are available as well & the majority are very high quality.

I did own & play GTR2 but although polished & very well presented it is not half of the game that RF is.

Another to consider is LFS, a superb game only limited by the lack of mods & new tracks.

Also for Rally you will need Richard Burns Rally, this is without doubt the Best driver available on the PC. Pure hardcore, massive learning curve but completely satisfying when mastered.

I agree with everything said above :D rF best game for the money in my opinion new mods and tracks weekly if not daily :D

Another vote for rFactor.

GTR2 is very, very good, polished and great from the off.

RF however has so many mods and tracks it's untrue, and the latest ones are upto the standards of a comercial product.

Take a look at the Hall of Fame on http://www.rfactorcentral.com/ to see the very best mods/tracks, including an absolutely amazing Le Mans track from Virtua LM.

Another vote for rfactor, the amount of mods + tracks are amazing, Theres like a new addon coming out every week, Even less than that sometimes.

Its the only racing game i play now.

rFactor for shure wins for me, ive been modding it since it was released and my team have a few WIP mods coming soon, GTR2 lost its appeal for me so i sold it.
