The game looks great, I am good with low vid. settings... I posted on a SC forum & he said I should get a 1060, but they are still abit $$$...

The requirements state that an i5 is minimum and i7 is recommended, so your i3 may not be up to it, regardless of a GPU upgrade. That said, it'll be a huge step up from a 650 to a 1050. You'll still be held back by the CPU though I'm afraid. And 4GB RAM is pretty low nowadays, and probably critical to a game like Star Citizen (8GB min, 16GB rec).

What happened to the leave a title as the link?

Paste full link in new forums, and the software will work out which website it's come from and format accordingly.

Maybe you would be better off getting some second hand components so your money goes further.

Extra 4gb ram wouldn't go a miss for you either

Even if it's good enough now you'll likely struggle in 12 months time when we're testing something else - Realistically it'd work if you stick to 1080P but unless they do a lot of optimisation work as they develop, much of which hasn't been happening you're going to struggle. I'd honestly suggest holding off for as long as you can.

Don't buy ANY card just for SC, it's know where near ready, and in the 'universe' everyone FPS is pretty much the same anyway as it's all server bound (think Arma3 if you play it), buy the time it comes out GPU's will be much better anyway

Ok, that does make sense to wait, just watched a few vids. on youtube & it looks awesome... Wish I knew ETA on release, Connam Exiles also looks awesome, so not sure... SC does seem to change often, getting a 1050 now to have them change to a 1070 will suck... A quad core I5 will prob. stay at that though... I wish the did GPUs like CPUs as just a chip...
