gtx 1060 HDMI output stopped working?

i bought a prebuilt pc from overclockers around a year ago and upon arrival the gpu didnt work
i got a replacement and its been working fine until now
the gpu HDMI shows a no signal followed with a black screen but the motherboard HDMI works fine?
Any advice?

Can you try one of the other outputs on your video card? Does your monitor have a display port you could use?

I would make sure it's set to the the right resolution and not trying to output 10 bit. Boot in safe mode and see if the hdmi port works there.

You can get dvi to hdmi convertors and use that instead, they only cost about £5.

It would be worth testing the card in another pc, if it is broken send it back for replacement. Most have 2 or more years warranty.
