Then ocuk adds another 10% price gouge on top...
I think this is quite the exaggeration. The RX480 might not have been what was promised, but it's still a very competitive card thanks to its very reasonable price.
I also don't get all the hype over AMD drivers - I've had no major issues with them over the past 4 years or so.
Personally I couldn't care less which one it's based on as long as it kicks ass and is reasonably pricedTake this with 10 truckloads of salt:

Does that mean the GTX1060 6GB is a GP104 based part, and the 3GB version is actually the GP106 based one??
Wow they actually put founders edition tax on a lower end part, what a joke.
So I'm guessing these will be close to £300 here in the UK. For a x60 card.
Whats next, GTX 1050 3gb Founders for £200? This gen is a joke, bring on 2017 and Vega.
Sure it is . Gibbo's sales numbers suggest other wise. They were literally flying out of the door.
That is roughly what my 980 gaming gets (out of the box, no overclocking). Considering that Pascal does get better scores with a sync/dx12 does that mean the 1060 will be slightly slower than the 980 in dx11 and around the same in dx12?
This is sort of what I expected considering the core count and bus etc.
Looks like they are going to be a more efficient, possibly slightly faster alternative to the RX480.
I'm stuck with my integrated graphics which are too crap to run my monitor at 1440p (motherboard restriction)! Sold my 280X a week or two before the 480 launched.
At the moment it's anyone's guess what I'm going to get. 480/1060/1070 are all in the running.
