Like i say, you cannot trust anything on Videocardz, they are just as bad as WCCFTech...
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
Is someone taking the #### with that ^^^^ seriously?
That's with supersampling enabled, presumably a 4GB 960 too, since the framerate takes a nosedive with 2GB cards in that game.
It seems that performance chart is from the Nvidia guide as Videocardz have leaked the entire guide:

If the 1060 is 24% faster than the 480 it puts it at about 90% the performance of a 980TI/1070 in this game
We had this level of Hype with the RX 480 from the same people, don't believe a word of it.

It's not, that does look like the genuine reviewers guide so those are Nvidia run benchmarks, apparently at standard clock speeds, so let me guess, they put the RX480 system inside a sealed room with a heating unit raising the temp to 70C so the card runs at below base clocks throughout due to temps... maybe.
Those numbers if direct from Nvidia are likely best case for 1060, and seemingly beaten by every RX480 review I've seen in general(the numbers are higher for RX480, they wouldn't necessarily beat the 1060 in every case).

Old results, but here a 980 is 26% faster than a 390 in RotTR with 2xSSAA.
I don't think videocardz are actually that bad, it's wccftech you should be wary of, that's where the "1600 Mhz 480" came from, videocardz were much more conservative in their estimates.
Wccftech don't seem to have any sources, everything there is copy-pasted from forum posts or made up on the spot.

It seems a retailer in the US leaked the pricing for some of the Zotac GTX1060 cards. The basic one with a short PCB and a single fan looks like it will be around £240 with a direct conversion including VAT.
It appears to be the shorter card pictured here:

The AMP! version seems to be around £255 if you do the same conversion.
They are reporting what I mentioned about pricing in an earlier post, but I am not sure if the company mentioned was an OcUK competitor,so hence I did not link or take a picture of the listings.
If the 3GB version is £250, that will be pony.
