Hey guys,
Installed my new 1070 the other day, running nice, my only gripe so far is that I played BF1 for the first time today on it in multiplayer, and in 1080p med/ultra settings I'm getting an AVERAGE of around 80-90 FPS
I thought I should be getting more than that? Is there any settings in Windows 10 or BF1 that I can try to up this?

not good...
But yes you seem to be hitting a CPU bottleneck.
80+ frames in BF1 is perfectly playable but as I mentioned in the other thread, look at what games you play and what core counts they prefer. You don't mention the monitor you have - I am assuming some 144hz monitor? In my case as long as I am between 50 and 90 I am happy - that's on a G-sync 100hz monitor. If I had an ordinary 60hz one anything above 60 fps is a waste IMO.
