GTX 1070 performance

The 970 was nicely priced and I was happy to go from the similar (mid 200s) priced 660ti for a boost - plus looking at ownership figures many other people were happy to pay mid 200s for their GPU. So if the 1070 is 300+ just what will Nvidia be selling in the 200s range?

The dream would be 270: the price i paid for my 970 at launch.
 
Looking for a 9.5" six pin flavour of the 1070 with a ref blower none FE addition, SFF builds would be getting a lot of GPU grunt with a nice power envelope.

That would be fantastic, but the 970 was an aggressive move by Nvidia and I think it's already clear they aren't going for that again given the $50 higher MSRP for the 1070.

It's still a lower base price than the 670 and 770, though. Something a lot of people like to ignore.

I expect cards to range from £320-400, with some very decent offerings around £350.

im guessing they all 8gb so it might be hard for them to do a mini version like they did the 970 but id love to see it

they probably could if they really wanted to...
 
1070s will probably start from 330 ish mark im guessing for cheap ones with blowers and about 350 ish for the nicer cooling ones with 2-3 fans.
