Gigabyte Z97P D3, 4790k, 16 gig 2400 ram Win 10 SSD. (ALL stock)
Swapped card from a GTX980 to this new Gigabyte x2 card. Driver cleaner and few tests all OK. Then suddenly started to get driver recovery messages after blank screens (re cleaned different drivers) and same random recovery and few reboots. Run benchmarks and it'll be fine and Temps. Just random recovery on desktop browsing or running a video.
Swapped back to GTX 980. Everything OK.
Put the 1070 in other system running the 980 (Gigabyte Z87X- SLI , 4770K 16 gig 2400 SSD win 10 cpu @4.4 ghz) . Driver cleaned and put in the 1070 and everything runs fine so far. No driver recovery or reboots.
Im at a loss what's going on ? Potential motherboard bois issue, Windows install oddity? Don't know what to do or try next. Prefer the 1070 in the Z97P system ?
Any idea's.
