Hi

Finally had chance to install this and got an issue where the card is not being recognized with a message stating 'The NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows'

Running (trying to install) the latest drivers on Windows 10, 64bit.

Nothing useful on google so far either apart from install and uninstall. That's all well and good, but I can't even begin to install it. Just throws this error message.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing you are still on build 10240 of Windows 10 and not the current 10586 build of Windows?

If so you need to upgrade your version of Windows 10.

That's correct. I am still on 10240.

Just out of interest, is it just the new 10 series that don't work on the older version? My 980 GTX ran fine with the latest drivers

Seen this a few times now - Why are people sticking with old versions of Windows 10?

maybe because there is an issue with the windows update to version 1511, 10586 and, like myself, didnt notice they had been failing.. I am trying to do mine manually now via Media Creation tool in anticipation of my card turning up soon.

What happened to me without noticing. Updates would just hang and then fail when it tries to install. Fresh install helped and updated very quickly after that.

Thought I had a D.O.A card at first!
