Hi all
I have brought a very nice EVGA GTX 1080 and currently run it on a TN 24" Gsync 144hz monitor. I find the screen very washed out and am considering a new monitor.
Unfortunately stretching to nearly 700 pounds for a 27" IPS Gsync 144Hz+ mon itor may be a step too far (for the wife..I would happily pay ) so I am considering a Freesync. Annoyingly the same model of Acer Predator is around £250 pounds cheaper in the Freesync option.
I know I would not be able to use Freesync.. the question is, does anyone already run this setup and how much screen tearing or stuttering do you honestly get and is the extra £250 quid really worth it. Just cannot see the justification for such a price difference.
Thanks in advance
Nick
