So got my GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC 11G while living in Australia in late 2018, and for the past year I've had artefacts and black screens (which I have documented with timestamps), but now I'm in the UK I'm not exactly sure what to do. Messaged Gigabyte and explained and they're just like "Return it to the store you bought it from" despite me explaining, international post at the moment is basically a no-go due to covid, and that place I bought it from is literally in Australia. The chance is I would never, ever see the card again since half the stuff I've had sent to me from Australia has gone AWOL this past year and even with express shipping it's taken months for things to arrive.

Is it possible to force Gigabyte to RMA the thing here in the UK since it's still under the 3 year warranty? Or is it time to bin and get a new graphics card? Pretty lame this thing basically only lasted a bit over a year before it's Vram seemingly died.

I would RMA it back to Australia.................making sure that you have insured it for at least the cost of the dearest sold one on a certain auction site. Sit tight and hope it goes missing, then put in the insurance claim. Win win all round i would have thought.

Gigabyte is a global company, i'm sure they won't be asses about it and @GIGA-Man will sort you out :)

Haha if I had a spare computer, absolutely would, but can't go that long without my PC to verify it as lost.

Ship it to Australia, graphics card are under 2kg weight, and should be 10-20 quid shipped. Just remember to insure it.
I would but due to covid, packages have been taking 3+ Months to arrive even with first class. Australia has fully closed borders atm and barely any flights so international mail between there and everywhere else is pretty much a no-go atm.

do you know anyone heading to Aussie anytime soon?
Nah Australia's borders are fully closed, nobody in or out.

Then I am afraid you are stuck, there are

yeah but after they have to get it back out again, also not to mention potentially stopped by customs and damage during transit etc.
Yeah but at least it’ll be waiting and repaired for when this all blows over.

Wouldn’t worry about customs, or damage if you pack it right.

Well looks like card is officially dead. Black screen of death and won't output anymore. Guess I'll have to send it to Aus and just buy a new card in the interim since I don't think I'll be seeing this one again for quite some time
