GTX 1080ti on its way out

Hi guys my 1080ti is ready to be buried soon. Artefacts all over the screen happen more often every day. I tried cables different output cables/ports so it is bad memory. What would a a logical step to take. I mainly play Assetto corsa fully moded to look very realistic to drift and counter strike from time to time. I dont want to break a bank so open to suggestions new or used in region of £400. Many thanks

New: RX 7700 XT or RX 6800. Not a huge upgrade on what you have for £400, unfortunately, but they're not a bad one either.

I guess this would not hurt. Going to order thermopads as well. I'm gutted a bit as it served me well for last 6 years

You've done alright man, hopefully you can get it to last you a while longer til a deal drops your way.

Try reducing the memory speed in afterburner and see if the issue disappears. Might be able to limp along until you find a deal.

Re-pasting and/or reducing the memory speed by 5% seem like good suggestions. The card only needs to last a month longer until the whole stack of GPU prices adjust to the super card releases.

A 3080 (preferably 3080 12Gb) would be a great upgrade for a 1080ti - I know, I've been there and done exactly that It would double your performance or near enough. Plus ray tracing, DLSS. The latter would improve the performance gains even further. Used prices are around £400.

Thanks guys. I have replaced and re-padded my 1080ti and no luck. I have underclocked the memory and it happens less often. Gonna have to wait until payday. Hopefully can grab a alright ish deal on 3080

I’d be very careful buying any second hand 3080 a lot of them were spanked silly doing mining.
