Got my GTX all installed and up and running now, I have downloaded GPU-Z and looked at the temperatures and it is running at about 55C idle. Playing cod4 it seems to near 70C Is that ok for the GTX or bad?

Also when I shut down the PC I hear a short beep or squealing sound just before it turns off, anyone have an idea on that?

Thanks :)

Sounds good, what would be the temperature that it should get to max, when one would start worrying about it?

Also is there a way to get rid of the beep because it is annoying :)

dont even worry about it. as long as its dumping that heat out the back of the case, it'll do just fine. typically i see 80-85c under load on mine. thermal protection doesnt even cut in untill well over 100c, and even at 80-85c you cant hear the fan. they are very well set up:)

dont turn it off :p

Temps are fine, nothing to worry about, infact, they are good for stock cooling on a gtx...

The beep is the gfx card warning you that it has no power, and since it only happens as the pc shuts down, defiantely nothing to worry about (psu is probably knocking the power to the gfx card out before the pc is totally off, thus the very short lived sound.. it would be a constant high pitch squeel if your pc was on)
