Well i have one :D and its a Palit GTX 260 Core 216, i have used the Nvidia control panel to overclock the card, its gone a fair way, idle temp has gone up 1degree C, so is there much more room?

Clocks are

Graphics Clock: 610MHz
Processor Clock: 1315MHz
Memory Clock: 1050MHz

They seem rock solid stable, so how much further could i push it, if at all?

Just download atitools and run the artifact scan continuously, increase the clocks individually by a few MHz until artifacts are detected, then back the clocks off a bit, do this with each clock and then try the safe clocks you got for each together and leave it testing for a while.

Thats unusual, usually atitools starts reporting artifacts before they are even visible if you are increasing by incremental amounts. Never known it to not report when they are clearly visible.

Are you using the latest version? Remember with an nvidia card you need to use some other software like rivatuner to actually alter the clocks.

plenty more!

my POV GTX260-216 was at 675 / 1400 / 1050 and i didnt fine tune it at all.

i think it got artifacts at around 690, so i just kept everything a bit down from what those settings were. potentially shaders / ram had more to go.

i dont know, just right clicked on my desktop, opened Nvidia Control Panel, clicked Adjust GPU Settings, set it to manual, and away i went, kept fan on automatic fan control

latest drivers, but had a 8800GT before, and had all sorts for that, why? shouldnt i be able to do it or something? it shows up the clocks i set on GPU-Z...

heres a screeny if you dont believe me :)

Ah are you running ntune or something? IIRC it enabled the performance monitor (and oc tabs) !

On Palit's website :p

Mine is now at 626c/1050m and shaders 1350

Compared to stock that's a neat boost. Will bench now and see any diffeences...

just clocked mine some more

be prepared!!

GPU Clock : @676MHz (Stock 576MHz)
Memory: @1100MHz (Stock 999MHz)
Shader: @1458MHz (Stock 1242MHz)

No Artifacts atm...done 30mins in COD4, seems fine...so..what now?
