I just bought a gtx260 and installed it today, upgrading from a 8800 gts 320. However, i'm just wondering if my performance is normal for this card. When running UT3 max settings I seem to get a constant fps of 60, and when running Bioshock max settings I seem to be getting an fps of around 30-60 (which doesn't seem to be that gd as it still seems slow). My 3d Mark Vantage score is around the 7000 mark (with 4gig RAM and Intel E6850 3ghz dual core cpu).

Sounds like Vsync to me. Have you tried to play these games with this Vsync not selected?. If so then check the Nvidia control panel to see if it's set to always on.
 
yeah constant 60 fps is vsync, it limits your maximum framerate to 60, disable it in the video options
