Is there any coolers out there NOW for the GTX 260 that will lower temps a fair bit, i know Artic Cooling are fetching one out in march, but thats a few months of...

260 already runs pretty cool (and if you don't mind the fan noise turning it up can bring temps down a lot) for overclocking I doubt that most 3rd party fans would make much odds - to get the temperatures for extreme clocks you really want to watercool them - even high end air cooling isn't going to get you more than an extra 50MHz over the stock cooler.

hey

i run mine 24/7 at 715/1455/1205 with the fan on 40% (stock fan speed) and it idles anywhere from 38-42C and loads around 82C with furmark.

thats perfect for me as its as far as i can stabaly overclock it and the temps arnt bad.

If its just the fact that you want the temps to be lower, and its not for overclocking purposes, then get the cooler. but you do not NEED another cooler to get it overclocked.

unless the temps of the card are effecting overall case temps or cpu temps badly, which i doupt, you dont need one :)
