just got my GTX 260, im wondering what the little cable is i got with it, which plugs into the side of it next to the power cables, it doesnt say in the Instructions at all, i thought it was for the fan but the fan is working fine.

i wouldnt even know where to plug the cable into my mobo, p5k premium mobo i have.

it might not even be needed but i wanted to make sure before i start it up properly and start playing.

is it a small (ie about 2 inch) flat cable? If so, that's the SLi bridge cable.

If it's a 4/6 pin cable then it's the power. There's usually two power connectors and they should be supplied from different leads coming off your psu.

Hope this helps.

nope its not the sli cable bridge and its not the power cables :p, i mean its VERY small as in the connecter itself, which fits in the side of the card, then the other end theres 2 little connecters which are even smaller, about 3mm squared each and they have a + on one and a - on the other

aslong as its nothing to do with the fans or power, im fine :)

im a little shocked at its performance tbh, all high on world fo warcraft only getting 20-30fps

anyway cheers

Depends on resolution your running, AA/AF and where about you are.
WOW is unfortunatly heavly CPU limited depending on your location.
For instance in Dalaran I can get 30-40 fps with my 4070 maybe.
There are certern out door locations that will totaly kill your FPS, I have to turn off Adaptive AA because all the foliage drops my fps into the ground in some areas otherwise.
