Hey guys, I'm a bit concerned about my GTX 260, which is idling at around 55C and gets up to 65C on my Linux install, probably runs higher on Windows when gaming. Should it be running this hot? In contrast, my CPU is running at 30C, quite cool. I am assuming it is probably just clogged up with dust and needs to be cleared out, but I don't want to dismantle it for two reasons, first, I don't want to mash up the heads of the screws with the wrong screwdriver and then not be able to put them back in, and I don't want to break it or lose parts. So what should I do?

Sounds about right if I'm honest mate. You could probably get the temperature to drop 5-10 degrees by giving it a bit of a dust like you say but thats nothing to worry about imo.

My 8800 Ultra used to idle at 75-80 oc, hehe.
