GTX 260 Signal problem

Hi

Took delivery of a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 260 on the 11th of August from Overclokers, since installing it I've had lots off trouble with the card not sending a signal to the monitor. Sometimes I have no signal at post then turns on at Vista start up and sometime the other way round switching the monitor off at Vista start up. I've tried 3 different drivers the 190.38 Nvidia drivers are the worst for it. I tried the old one's on the disk and had better luck, now I'm using the 186.18 drivers and the problems back.

I've tried a friends 4890 card in the machine and it's fine and my old card has no problems, anyone else had any problems like this and should I just give up with the card and send it back.

You may want to read this thread its about the gtx275 from gigabyte with the same problem but i think a few gtx260 users also posted in this thread with the same problem.

That sure sounds like the very same problem.

The are some 190.62 which may fix the issues from 190.38 which gave me the same problems as yours, I moved all the way back to 182.5 and it seems fine.

Strange thing is though I have a 275 and as far as I'm aware the 275 didnt even exist when the driver was written. But everything works fine.
