Alright guys,

I have been thinking for a few weeks about getting another GTX 260 whilst they are so cheap!

The only worry though is my power supply. I have a Hiper 780w and while this works fine I don't know what the power draw would be.

any one had any experiences with either the power supply or GTX 260 sli?
 
weather sli is worth it really depends on your cpu.

For example, i recently had 2 gtx 280s with my i7. With one crysis got around 40fps with 2 it got 80fps.

In most games i wqas seeing a 100% performance increase.

With a core 2 duo or even quad the performance does not scale so well.

In the end i sold the second gtx 280 because, at the moment there is no pont in getting 80fps on crysis very high 1920x1200 16xaa

Save your money and wait for the dx 11 cards then sell your gtx 260.

Btw I bought a decent Jeantech absolute 1000w psu with 20 amp 12 v rails for £70 on a well known auction site. Brand new.
