Hey guys, I wrote over at overclock.net about a recent GTX 275 I purchased which has been causing me many a problem since I got it yesterday. The latest is the graphics card running in 1x mode rather than 16x, note it's been running this way since I received it yesterday. Obviously this is causing it to seriously underperform.
Here's my thread:
http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/747269-gtx-275-its-way-out.html
Please read it through to the last page as I've been keeping it updated.
At the time I couldn't even run gpu-z or steam let alone preview the little spinning nvidia logo in the 3D settings > Adjust image settings with preview so that was the reasoning for the thread name.
Lastly something I don't think I mentioned on overclock is that aswell as the PCB having a ever so slight bend in it, also the metal back plate end fin bits we're bent inwards towards the motherboard which seemed a bit odd as they usually face outwards perhaps a tiny bit from my experience.
Lastly do you think with the card possibly being tampered with in order to get it to work properly that I'd be able to get a refund if I went through paypal dispute?
Thanks if anyone can help
