Is it worth getting one of these over the 4850 512 I have? I run a core 2 [email protected] gig and have 4 gig ram, play at 1680x1050 Win7.

Well how do your games run? If your finding your games are somtimes jerky (ie low fps) or you have to play with some settings turned down, then upgrading to a GTX275 or a 4890 would be an improvement. I can play GTA4 with everything maxed using my GTX275 and it runs fine.
However if your games run fine with your current card it seems a pointless upgrade at the moment, wait until the next DX11 cards come out, sure to make prices of the current line up to drop

No it isn't worth it, so as above, wait for the Dx11 cards from ATi, as they will be getting their release date announced in about 2 weeks (Sept. 6th).

No, but what I said earlier is if you wait til then, there's a good chance the current cards will drop in price a little. Wait a few weeks but save a bit of money... seems alright.
