GTX 280 3dmark06

I have similar spec to you but a 9800gx2 instead, I get about 18.5k. As everyone has said the newer cards don't look as impressive with the older benchmarks, however they are better. As long as your getting decent frame rates and games are running fine then I wouldn't worry about benchmarks.

Running Vantage is no good to people like myself who use XP.

I''ll take your 280 and you can have my GX2 if you want ;) :D

The GTX 280 is far better than the GTX260, your money is well spent if your looking for top frame rates on maxed out settings.

Try 3D Mark Vantage or use games to compare the performance differences :)
