Interesting to note how CPU limited you are in 3DMark so people know! 3.2GHZ C2D here with an 9800GTX at stock is around 12700!

Crysis results are defiantely showing a better comparison tbh :)

Blimey.. I'm at 3.5 currently and get 14,200 with the ultra.. Doesn't seem right?

edit- then again I clocked the hell out the ultra so lets wait for o/c results, also a run at high res with 4xAA 16xAF for fun.

but 500 odd quid, i would expect it to run crysis full settings AA/AF on 10 different screens we just the one card

but suppose im already climbing over the fence to join with the console lovers, seen as pc gaming as gone pathetic these days

Believe me a small increase in CPU speed makes a massive increase in 3DMark06!

@ 3.15Ghz I score around 12,450 with a stock 9800GTX
@ 3.20GHz I score around 12,750 with a stock 9800GTX

In theory with 300Marks per increase in .05Ghz I would be looking at the following:

@ 3.50GHz(IN THEORY) would be 14550 (Not saying I would get that)

Obvious scaling on the GPU etc comes with less CPU limitation, you see where im coming from though?

Aye, I'll clock my CPU back up to 3.6 and see what I get. Anyways it's only 3dmark, lets get to the juicy stuff!
