I gained almost silence on water compared to the noise of a vaccuum cleaner as it was on air and a decent overclock 700 core shaders 1500 and mem 1300.

The fan noise doesnt bother me as I game wearing a headset but the prospect of a decent overclock is enticing.

The downside to watercooling a gtx 280 is its expensive as the block alone will cost £65 and added to the price of a pump,radiator,res and all the rest of the bits and pieces you need then you are looking at upwards of £130 total.
