GTX 295 Benchmarks.

Just a few benchmarks, I would post more but im VERY busy.

System Core i7 920 @ 3.3ghz, P6T, 6GB RAM at 1333mhz 8,8,8,24, corsair 1000W.

Stock run with physix on

Overclocked run with physix

Overclocked run no Physix

The card runs cool quiet at arround 70oC, the card I used overclocked to 700mhz core and 1200mhz memory.

it is on 1st release drivers we got from nvidia -
i can only guess that it will be like the GX2 and get much better as the drivers mature

its a great card and runs cooler than we all expected

even when we overclocked it

it will be well worth the money when the price drops a bit

Wow, it actually overclocks better than I expected. I guess the new cooler design helps to relieve the heat in that sandwich.

Any ideas how much quicker a [email protected] is over a [email protected]?? - Just so I can compare agasint your Vantage standard score

[email protected] gig is probably roughly comparable to a Q6600 @ 4gig - not taking HT capabilities into account.

A few kicking about on the big hardware review sites (don't think im allowed to link though). One even does quad sli vs quad crossfire (4870 X2)

Dual/Single benches here. Older ATI drivers though.

Is the 4870X2 above underclocked? The gpu-z shot makes me think so, unless it throttles when you close the application. Even so looking at the 295 gpu-z shot it is the other way around.

I imagine ATis downclocking doftware is more aggressive about switching form 2d to 3d.
