GTX 295 question please

Kmufc, take a look at the review AlexRose linked to, it might make you feel better about your cards.

Oh, was the build a fresh windows install when you installed those cards?

My crossfire build was a bit lacking even after using driver sweeper and such to get rid of the remains of old drivers, it took a full reformat to get their full potential.

@Leeroy123 there are other things to consider apart from just synthetic benchmarks. It's common knowledge that drivers are geared up to specifically provide high 3dmark numbers and are not a fair representation of a card's true ability.

Aside from that there are other factors as well that people will consider in determining which card is best for them.

Factors such as price/performance ratio, power consumption, overclockability, noise, size, outputs, bundle, cooling solution, etc.

Its obvious that the highest performing card is not the "best" card. Take for example the Asus RoG Mars the diminishing returns in terms of price on performance is absolutely appalling and won't be considered by the vast majority.

It's probably for the best if you keep an open mind about demands other people may face too.

295GTX kicks ass simple... mine runs everything flatout no stutter... i used to buy ATI cards and now have vowed to never NEVER buy an ATI card they crap there drivers are faulty and there cooling is ****!!!

had nothing but trouble with every ati card i bought.... (FULL STOP lol)

This man speaks the truth.
