GTX 295 replacement?

I agree. Wait and get a 6870 or the new G104 coming out soon. The 6870 and new G104 will be out before either Crysis 2 or Rage comes out.

Also if you honestly can then just hold out for awhile, i'm sure the refresh coming soon will show some performance increase at decent prices. Don't forget aswel that when the refresh comes, the 5 series cards will drop in price so you could be in for a bargain somewhere when they come out if you dont want a 6 series card.

+3 Yeah I'd wait too, what's the point in spending all that money now when there is new stuff coming out very soon. Then you can either get a new card or what you would have got now at a knock down price

I very rarely game.. but still want a decent card for the release of Crysis 2/Rage.

So basically you don't game much now, but will pick up gaming again when those two games are out? If that's the case, there's no real reason to upgrade 'now'...you should wait for the new games to be released, and see how your GTX295 runs on them...and if you are not satisfied, see what card would best suit you THEN, not now.

if your card does what you want than fine, wait..but no need to keep waiting for ever.... the GTX295 is still a very very quick card no dealts about it...

Pointless upgrade hold out as most are saying wait for something better, your card holds its own fine atm.

nothing at all wrong with GTX 295 at the minute, will play everything without much trouble. GTX 480 minimum frame-rate advantage, hasn't it always been said in so many threads that FERMI cards are good with minimum frame-rates.

so yeah, im gonna go with the others and say hold onto it for abit longer, you never know what the 6*** series might bring.
