GTX 460ti SLI help

Hi guys,

So, looking for a bit of help here!

I currently have a Gainward GTX 470 GOOD Edition which I'm using for BF3, however it is slightly stuttery and cannot run on full - it's kinda ok but not perfect.

I started a thread a while ago about going SLI with it, but unfortunately my MOBO (Asus P6X58D-E) is not good for it, as there is no space between the PCI-E slots (as in, you can get the 2 cards in in SLI, but they are basically touching with no spare, empty slots between them). So, dumped the idea due to the fact that it would be overheating.

But... I've been thinking! The MSI GTX 460ti Twin Frozr is cooler (I think), and is not too expensive (£176), so was thinking... would I be able to run 2 of them in SLI with no space between them without them melting like hot butter?

FYI, running in an Antec 902 case with a BeQuiet! 750w PSU.

Really appreciate any help!!

I'd think you'd get away with two cards close together if you have good case cooling. But any overclocking you might had in mind would be out of the question I guess. Or at least you'd have to be never conservative about it.
