Just playing about with afterburner and kombuster and was wondering how reliable a stability test is it? I've been reading a lot of people can't overclock the RAM even a tiny bit without sparklies/artifacts yet here I am running at 1750/3500 no issues even in 3 hours playing Crysis and am now testing a 1800/3600 o/c.

What is the GDDR5 rated at and is it different to whats in the 480 as many people seem to be gaining 2000/4000 with them.

The core/shaders I've tested up to 850/1700 with seemingly no problems other than heat management.

I'm using 1.087 voltage at the moment, I'd be interested to see what clocks fellow ocuk 470 owners are getting.

Ive heard overclocking the RAM makes a very little difference just work on getting that core clock as high as possible:D

Think 875/1750 is my tops. 900 crashes 3dmark03 but kombuster is fine. Need to do more tests though. It's a standard Zotac 470, very happy with it.

Run that overclock through OCCT with fan set to 85%'ish ;)

I've found Kombuster to be terrible at finding stable core overclock on both 470's & 480's. What it considers to be stable; often can't even get through 3 loops of Crysis bench.
