I'm thinking about giving my current rig (sig) the task of being an exclusive 24/7 folding rig or just sell it and downsize all the way to ITX.

I'm pretty much set on acquiring a Silverstone SG05 someday and I'm not sure if a GTX 480 will fit (a matter of power draw, not size), I know it's a power hungry card but will the 450w PSU be up to it? (I don't plan to overclock the CPU.)

If GTX 480 is too much for the PSU to handle, then please recommend me a decent GPU to go with it, preferably if the performance is similar or better.

GTX 660 Ti seems like the best choice, but since I want to remain with the green team, there doesn't seem to be anything better, maybe except a 560 Ti 448 or 570, CUDA performance matters a little bit here.

Well i can tell you the 480 wont go in an SG05, held it next to mine and the card is longer than the case. The 680 and 670 have both been run in the SG05 though so either of them should be ok for you, not sure what length the 660ti's are so can't comment on if that will fit.

Thanks, that confirms it, GTX 480 is out of the question.

My current basket;

YOUR BASKET
1 x EVGA GeForce GTX 660TI 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £219.95
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM £161.99
1 x Silverstone Sugo SG05 HTPC Case with 450W Power Supply - All Black ( SST-SG05BB USB 3.0) £114.98
1 x Gigabyte Z77N-WIFI Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard £93.98
1 x Thermalright AXP-100 ITX & HTPC CPU Cooler (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / 2011 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £39.95
1 x Silverstone SST-AP121-RL Red LED Air Penetrator 120mm FAN 1500rpm £16.99
Total : £661.34 (includes shipping : £11.25).

I already have the storage, RAM, monitor, well just about everything else sorted. (Still debating on whether I should get the i5 3570k or get a Xeon E3-1230 V2 from somewhere else, I won't be overclocking and that Z77 ITX motherboard is only few quids more than the H77 version.)

Any changes I should make? I would like to keep it around £650, I can stretch it to £700 if you can make a recommendation that's a lot better than what I have listed.

Yeah it does, GTX 480 can draw 300w+ and 660 Ti draws about 150w. (both under load)

Came across a SG08, that seems to my ideal SFF case, comes with 600w PSU and it's big enough to fit my GTX 480 (I would like to keep it, it performs fine.)

Looks decent? (As mentioned earlier, I have everything else sorted.)
