GTX 480 - Increase Voltage?

Under times of high stress on the graphics card the screen with blank for a couple of seconds before resuming.

I've put up with this for a while -but since I want to run FRAPS, it breaks the software when it happens.

Should I try increasing the voltage?

Throw it away and buy a new ATI card I heard you say?? ... I wish.
 
I always thought this was an issue of not enough voltage...but apparently nvidia drivers cause a lot of people blackscreens with a driver stopped responding message.

You could try more voltage, it wouldn't do any harm. Just dont throw another 3v through it.

Grilled nvidia does not smell as nice as grilled cheese.

If you look in this thread and scroll towards bottom and see my last post, I listed a lot of the reasons or fixes people are getting with this
But bottom line, as above, adding a few more volts (millivolts even) wont hurt
