GTX 480 Query

Hi,

Im currently running;

890FXA-UD7
1090T @ 3.2
GTX480
12GB RAM

When i start GPU-z it says the card is running at PCI-e 2.0 but then changes to 1.1.

Ive not had any problems with the card in games or lockups, so just wondered if its anything to worry about...

What version of GPUZ you're using? Use 4.9 and see if its the same.

Yeah mine changes after a couple of seconds as well.

And im on a relatively old ver of gpuz.

EDIT: Installed 4.9 and it does the same.

Strange. So is this just an issue with GPU-z or is it actually affecting performance?

It's meant to do it, at first it shows the PCI_E spec and then your link speed. It's just GPU-Z.
