Had this card for a few days now.

temperatures are fine 39 - 42 idle - 59 - 70 under full load

Been playing Crysis, Bulletstorm, Rift, Farcry 2 no problems with them all but.. yesterday it crysis started to frezze i thought it was the game.. so i brushed that one off, tried it again kept doing it.

just updated to new drivers and im getting frezzes in RIFT after about 5minutes of playing.

rekon its the Graphics or something else Pc specs are.

  • Coolermaster V8 CPU Cooler
  • 320GB Samsung HD322GJ Spinpoint F4, SATA 3Gb/s, 7200rpm, 16MB Cache
  • Intel Core i5 2500k
  • Asus P8P67-M PRO
  • 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600)
  • 850W Silverstone Strider+, Modular, 80 PLUS Silver, 88% Eff, 19dB, SLI/Crossfire, EPS 12V, 135mm Fan
  • Gigabyte SOC GTX 480 and a Zalman Z9 case.

Mine arrives tomorrow....

Have a look see in this thread and it appears there is a small % of the SOC cards that are not stable at the their stock volts. Apparently this is not uncommon on pre-oc'd cards......

Up the volts to see whether that increases stability and then RMA if card continues to misbehave.

Hope mine works as it should... and good luck with yours :(
