Hi all....

Thinking of selling my EVGA hydro copper (hope to get circa £300) and then buy and block a 480......

Has anyone made a similar move?

If so did min fram rates increase, was it worth it, or should i wait for more powerful fermis?

problem with the new hydro is its not the best block, issues with cooling some areas around the CPU as far as i have heard, you are better off self blocking.......

Will there be a Fermi dual GPU?

I say go for it. The 480 scales really well when clocked and the best comes from them when water cooled. If you can hit 900 core you'll get great performance out of it. Also, if you wait before you sell the 295 you'll get considerably less for it.

Thats a good point, im wondering whether to upgrade from a water cooled 295 to a 480 and then water cool that :)

Hows about getting a 5970 and getting a waterblock for it? It's expensive, but will show very tangible speed increases over the 295 and the 480.
