all the 480 blocks we sell are the same, just in different materials
like plexi and acetal, just means you have a black top with acetal or clear with the plexi
also the finishes of the metal include raw copper or nickel
its up to you on which will look the best in your waterloop, they will perform identically

The three EK blocks?
Well, copper would probably be the best conductor.
The Nickel one is the same as the copper, but nickel coated to prevent erosion, and there might be a marginal difference in temps, but not noticeable.
The acetal top is just black rather than clear, so is purely cosmetic.
There are other waterblocks on the market, check this review. I know they're for the 470, but you should still be able to draw some comparisons.
Personally, I've just received my clear-topped, nickel-coated GTX470 waterblock from EK.
