Getting a little annoying now as mobo doesn't have a reset button and I keep having to take battery out every time I start PC. Card works flawlessly once it displays.

I can confirm rest of system works fine with different card. Have updated motherboard bios and installed latest drivers. I7 920, 6gb, asus p6t deluxe, 500w seasonic.

Gtx 480 is a palit reference model. Any ideas?

Was thinking of flashing card bios to evga/asus stock bios?

Ok, i think it might be the motherboard as has done the same thing with my backup card.

Ive also tried with the 650w power supply and has made no difference.

Motherboard bios is the latest 1202

Any ideas on how to best isolate the problem, without going out and buying another board?

Check for loose connections, esp the 8 pin EPS and 24 pin ATX. Check your memory is seated correctly ETC ETC..

IE just pull everything out and then put it back in properly.
