hi i will be hopefully upgrading my 550ti sometime soon and have been offered my m8s second hand card which is a kfa2 660 ti 3gb version for £100 what i was wondering could i do better if saved a little more, went brand new and how much more would it take.

many thanks adam

Don't bother. For £100 you'd be better of trying to find a 2nd hand GTX670 or 7950. In this day and age, don't go for card with smaller than memory bus of 256-bit if possible.

Yep look for s/h 670, should be in your price range just about.

Or barter that 660ti down a bit!

Ok thanks was looking at prices and not gonna be able to upgrade till after crimbo anyway as I want to watercool my cpu first then gpu upgrade but there are 280x for £200 but by the time I can upgrade price might have come down a bit

My psu is cheap Chinese tat atm am upgrading to superflower leadex 750 gold or a supernova gold 750 within the next week. no it hasn't and doubt he will

Definitely some haggling to be done there, £80 ish would be a good target.

You definitely don't need a 750 W PSU. For a single 660 your whole system won't go above 300 W. A 450 W PSU would be a good idea.

Was looking at 750w as room to expand kind of purchase defiantly don't think I will be getting the 660ti now might just wait and save for better card
