Gtx 560 or Ati 6850

Hello, i have £140 to spend on a new graphics card. I'm not sure whether i want Ati or Nvidia(6850/will flash to 6870, or gtx 560) i have a 5770 at the moment and im not sure what to do haha. If there are any other better value for money cards then please let me know :D. Thanks.
 
You can't flash a 6850 to 6870 - that's the 6950 to 6970. In any case, you can get 6870s for under £130, and they're faster than the 6850 and the GTX560.
 
That comparison is for the GTX 560 Ti
The non-Ti version is about 10-15% slower (I think), which probably makes them quite similar performance-wise.

Between the three you've mentioned TekJoe, the GTX560 is the fastest of them all.

What he V said. Though the 6870 is a little faster. Not suprising given that a GTX560 is basically an overclocked GTX460, so it about on par/slightly above a 5850, whereas a 6870 is basically the same as a 5870 (slightly worse).

As can be seen here: TechPowerUp! (obviously compare the blue bar - because otherwise it's stock vs overclocked)
