I am about to build my first PC. I am a complete noob, so sorry if the question is stupid, but please try to answer in a way that any idiot can understand.

OK so I have chosen to use a Pentium G860 processor with this MSI motherboard: http://uk.msi.com/product/mb/H61M-P20--G3-.html

For the gfx card I want to use the GeForce GTX 560 ti. I was going to buy the Asus overclocked Direct CU version ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/GeForce-560...1380146403&sr=8-1&keywords=GeForce+GTX+560+Ti ) but this is where I got confused.

I don't really know what Direct CU is, except that it is something about cooling. I don't really care, but I found on Google that it will apparently take up other PCI slots, in addition to the 16x PCI-E.

So is this true; is this gfx card going to fit on the mobo, or have I completely misunderstood?

Thanks in advance for any help!

It'll be fine. Not sure if linking to other retailers is allowed though.

The card will occupy the PCI x 16 slot and block access to the CMOS battery but the PCI-ex1 slot should still be available. Putting card (maybe a network card?) may affect air flow though.

I would rather spend the money on a 2GB 7850 than an old 560ti with only 1GB ram. Not sure if OCUK still have any but MSI 7850 2GB was only £120 a week or so ago when I looked.
